A restorative filling is a material used to restore the form, function, and esthetics of missing or diseased tooth structure. The most common cause is a disease called dental caries or cavities, which is a bacterial invasion into the tooth that decays the tooth structure.
All the fillings used in our office are tooth-colored for natural looking esthetics and are bonded to the tooth structure for superior retention and longevity. All these fillings are non-metallic and completely free of mercury.
Placement of a filling is a pain free procedure and can be accomplished quickly and easily. Ignoring this essential treatment can lead to further loss of tooth structure and frequently necessitate more involved restorative procedures.
